Technical SupportIf you are having trouble viewing your Safe & Civil Schools preview CD, try following these steps. If this does not correct the problem, contact tech support and we will attempt to find a solution as quickly as possible.

On Windows:

When you insert your CD, Windows will open a window identifying the CD as one that contains several types of content and asking you what you would like to do. Click on Cancel to close that window.

Then open My Computer or Windows Explorer and select the network drive that contains the Safe & Civil Schools CD. This opens the main presentation folder.

To view the 30-minute presentation, "Proactive, Positive & Instructional Discipline" by Dr. Randy Sprick, select the Safe & Civil Schools Macromedia Projector.

To view product previews, open the Product Previews folder and select the preview(s) that you wish to watch.

If you attempt to open a file and the computer indicates that it doesn't know what program to open, you probably do not have QuickTime loaded on your computer. You must put QuickTime on your computer to view these presentations.

We have made it easy to download QuickTime. Open the file Computer Support.html in your browser and click on the Download QuickTime button. This will take you to the Apple site where you can download the correct version. Please note that you must be connected to the Internet when you click on the Download QuickTime button.

On Mac:

When you insert your CD, the Safe & Civil Schools CD icon should appear on your desktop. Double click to open the main presentation folder.

To view the 30-minute presentation, "Proactive, Positive & Instructional Discipline" by Dr. Randy Sprick, open the Intro to Safe & Civil Schools folder. Select either Safe & Civil Schools–OSX or Safe & Civil Schools–Classic, depending on your operating system.

To view product previews, open the Product Previews folder and select the preview(s) that you wish to watch.
